Terms of Service
You shall not upload, distribute, or otherwise publish through this website (https://erisdejarnett.com and any subdomains or parked domains) any content, information, or other material that a) includes any bugs, viruses, worms, trap doors, Trojan horses, or other harmful code or properties; b) is libelous, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, or could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under the laws of the United States of America or the laws of any other jurisdiction that may apply; or c) violates or infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, patents, service marks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights of any person. We may give you an account identification and password to enable you to access and use certain portions of this site. Each time you use a password or identification, you are deemed to be authorized to access and use the site in a manner consistent with the terms and conditions of this agreement, and we have no obligation to investigate the source of any such access or use of the site.
Unless explicitly permitted by our company in advance, all materials, including images, text, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, programs, music clips or downloads, video clips and written and other materials that are part of this site (collectively, the “Contents”) are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not make any commercial use of any of the information provided on the site or make any use of the site for the benefit of another business. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel orders at our discretion, including, without limitation, if we believe that customer conduct violates applicable laws or is harmful to our interests. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, lease, transmit, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise exploit this site or any portion of it unless expressly permitted by our company in writing.
You will be solely responsible for all access to and use of this site by anyone using the password and identification originally assigned to you whether or not such access to and use of this site is actually authorized by you, including without limitation, all communications and transmissions and all obligations (including without limitation financial obligations) incurred through such access or use. You are solely responsible for protecting the security and confidentiality of the password and identification assigned to you.
Refunds, Exchanges, and Returns
We offer a 30-day exchange policy on hard-copy performance materials only. (We rarely, if ever, produce these anymore.) If you bought a digital product from us (PDF, sound file(s), .zip of score and performance materials, etc.), we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds, only replacements (also within 30 days) if the product is defective or damaged. If you are unsure a score is what you’re looking for, please use our Contact page to get in touch with us and ask before you buy! Perusal scores are provided whenever possible. Look for those on individual project pages.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All exchanges require proof of purchase.
On rare occasion, we may offer an exchange after the 30-day period has expired; however, in the vast majority of cases, any exchange requests after that time will be denied.
No refunds or exchanges are available on commissioned works unless explicitly outlined in the commissioning contract.
Exchanging Hard Copy Performance Materials
First, use the form at the bottom of this page to request an exchange; include the name of the piece and the reason for your exchange request in your submission. Once we receive your message, we will make an initial determination of whether or not you are eligible for an exchange based on the information provided. If you are approved, you will send your performance materials back to us. We will provide a shipping label at no cost to you if you’re willing and able to use USPS Priority Mail flat-rate envelopes. If you need or prefer to use a different service, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Once you receive your initial approval, you have 30 days to put your materials in the mail. Items mailed after that 30-day window will be denied an exchange (and we will send you digital replacements via email). If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Note: USPS taking longer than expected to deliver your package will not be counted against you. As long as the postmark is within the 30-day window, your exchange will not be deemed ineligible based on timing.
Once your exchange is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We also reserve the right to deny an exchange at this time if the product is severely damaged or missing score/parts not specified in your initial communication to us. In the event an exchange is denied after materials have been returned, digital copies of the received materials will be sent to your email.
If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed, and the replacement performance materials of your choice will be dispatched to you via USPS. Typically these will ship in 5-10 business days; if additional delays are expected, we will let you know. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Sale items can be exchanged; however, if the item you are exchanging for is more expensive than the full-price cost of the materials you bought initially, you will be charged the difference in price between the two items. (If you exchange a score that was $35 on sale for a score that was $45 on sale, you will be charged $10. If you exchange a score that was $35 on sale for a score that did not go on sale and is $50, you will be charged $15.)
We only replace materials if they are defective or damaged. For digital copies, this applies to files that are corrupted on receipt of delivery. For hard-copy materials, this includes shipping damage. You must notify us within 90 days of receiving your materials to receive a replacement. If you need to exchange it for the same item, fill out the form below and check “Replacement”. We may request proof of damage or file corruption upon receiving your request.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
